Where you are right now

You already know something needs to shift

Maybe it's the way your days run. Maybe it's a goal you keep moving to "next year," or a decision you've been turning over for months.

You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. You've asked friends what they would do, and everyone had an opinion. And somehow you're still not sure what you want.

What helps at this point is room to think, with someone who asks the questions that let you hear your own answer.

That's what these six weeks are for.

This round of coaching was made for you

If…

  • you have a goal, or a feeling, you keep coming back to and haven't yet made room to act on
  • you're ready to set other people's opinions down for a while and trust your own thinking
  • you want to begin the new year with one clear decision and your first steps already in motion

Then six weeks of coaching can give you the space, the structure, and the steady weekly rhythm to get there.

What coaching is

Your answers, drawn out by the right questions

Coaching is a question-and-answer process. I ask, you reflect, and we follow your thinking until you reach awareness and a decision you believe in.

It's solutions-oriented and forward-focused. We spend our time on where you want to go and how you'll get there, so you can see that place clearly and move toward it with clarity and conviction.

Because the answers come from you, they fit your values, your family, and the life you're actually living.

“Every coach needs a coach! Meet mine! @mainly.montessori.homeschool

In our recent 1:1 ... She gently challenged me with difficult questions, my mindset, and my energy. This is what a great coach does!

As a solo working mama who also homeschools a tricky neurodivergent brain, Pilar has been my anchor on this journey.

By the end of our call I had my homework, clarity on what action to take next, and I felt empowered to make it all happen.

If you homeschool ... I promise you, she’s the one! ...”

How it works

How the six weeks unfold

Week 1

Choose your focus

Our first session helps you decide which area of your life you'll focus on over the next five calls, and what your main goal will be.

Weeks 2–6

Explore what matters

Each call helps you make progress toward your goal. We explore why it matters to you, so your motivation rests on your values and priorities.

Every call

Name your next step

Each session ends with you identifying the next step on your path, so you leave knowing what you'll do before we meet again.

Montessori guide.
Homeschooling mom.
Coach in training.

M.Ed. Montessori Education · AMI Primary & Elementary · Positive Discipline Facilitator · ICF ACC Candidate

For almost 20 years, my work has been built on a Montessori idea: people grow best when they're given the trust and space to discover their own answers. I saw it as a guide in Primary and Elementary classrooms, and I've seen it at my own kitchen table through eight years of homeschooling my children.

Coaching lets me offer that same trust to adults. I trained through Erickson's neuroscience-based coaching program, and I'm now completing my coaching hours toward ICF certification.

That's why this round exists, and why it's offered well below the usual rate.

Six sessions, one clear direction

The average 30-minute session with an ICF coach runs over $150. Six sessions at that rate would come to $900.

Questions

Before you decide

Do I need to know what I want to work on before we start?

No. That's what our first session is for. It helps you decide which area of your life you'll focus on and what your main goal will be.

Can we focus on my homeschool?

Yes, if that's the area you choose. Coaching works through questions, so I won't be reviewing lesson plans or recommending materials. We'll focus on what you want for your homeschool and how you'll move toward it.

Will you tell me what to do?

No. I'll ask questions that help you reach your own answers. You know your life best. My role is to help you hear yourself think.

Why do the calls need to be recorded?

I'm completing my training hours toward ICF certification. To take part, you'll grant permission for me to record the audio of our calls for training purposes. The recordings will only be shared with my trainers, and they'll be deleted upon graduation.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is forward-focused and centered on your goals and next steps. If you're looking for support with past experiences or your mental health, a licensed therapist or counselor is the right fit.

When do we start?

Your first session takes place between January 7 and January 25, 2027. Your next five sessions follow weekly from that first call, Monday through Saturday. If your first session is on January 7, your last session falls the week of February 8. If it's on January 25, your last session falls the week of March 1.

What if I need to reschedule a call?

Life happens, and that's okay. If you need to move a call, reschedule it within one week of your original call date, so we keep our momentum going. All six sessions are completed by April 5, 2027.

Why six weeks in a row?

Weekly calls keep the momentum going. When too much time passes between sessions, it's easy to lose the thread of what you were working toward.

A note from me

If you've read this far, something here probably landed.

Maybe it's a goal you've carried for a while. Maybe it's a decision you're ready to stop circling.

I'd love to spend six weeks asking you insightful questions and holding space for your answers. Seven spots, first come, first served, starting in January.

With warmth,

Pilar
