How Does Montessori Work at Home?
Montessori works at home because it follows your child's natural rhythms and your family's real life, not a rigid schedule built for a classroom of thirty.
It's built on observation: you watch what your child is drawn to, prepare an environment that supports it, and step back enough to let them work. That's true whether your child is 2 or 12; the application just looks different at each stage.

What Do Preschool & Kindergarten Look Like When Using the Montessori Method at Home?
In Montessori, we refer to ages 3-6 as the Primary Years, although you may know it as Preschool and Kindergarten. At this age, children will experience what Montessori called “explosions” in language and math. As their prepared guide, you will share lessons using concrete curriculum materials that help them build knowledge and develop a deep love of independent learning. Learning will have a focus on fine motor skill development, concentration, and hands-on exploration.
